Это инструмент для установки/удаления модов с расширением «.sporemod». Поможет нормально установить Dark Injection (чтобы он правильно работал, но у меня иногда при выборе MODного окраса текстура существа становится полностью голубой) 

Установка (внимание, нудно и сделано для незнающих английский язык): следовать инструкции инсталлятора. Если вы устанавливаете Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit, то выберете «I am installing the Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit for the first time», далее указываете куда хотите установить программу.
После этого на рабочем столе должны появиться 3 bat файла, Spore ModAPI Launcher, Spore ModAPI Easy Installer, и Spore ModAPI Easy Uninstaller. Первым файлом запускать игру, в противном случае вы не сможете играть в spore с установленным(и) модом(ами). Второй файл нужен для того чтобы устанавливать моды. (на примере Dark injection) Забиваем путь к файлу, открываем файл, ждём, иногда ждать нужно долго, вылезает окно, выбираем нужные компоненты (на примере DI — фон и интерфейс), нажимаем «Install» — мод установлен. 3 файл — удаление модов. Тут всё просто — запускаете, два раза кликаете по моду, вылазит окошко в котором можно настроить и удалить мод. Чтобы удалить, кликните «Uninstall», PROFIT.

Пишет «Configuration Script Failed [2000]». Нажимаю Ок, на несколько секунд появляется чёрный экран и потом «Could not find a needed package. The data directory is missing or corrupt. [1004]». Снова нажимаю Ок и игра не открывается. Что делать? Искал в regedit — HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE — Wow6432Node, там нет папки Electronic Arts (игру я скачал). Система у меня 64-бит. Помогите пжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжж.

Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit

The Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit is a toolkit which allows mods to influence Spore’s code, granting mod developers greater control over Spore and its behaviour.

It requires legally-purchased versions of both Spore and Spore Galactic Adventures and atleast Patch 1.5.1 to be installed.

NEVER explicitly run any of the Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit’s programs as Administrator under ANY circumstances. They will request these privileges automatically as needed. After installing the Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit, it is imperative that you run the Spore ModAPI Launcher whenever you want to play Spore. Do not open the game any other way.

For your own safety

As with any software, you should only download mods from trustworthy sources. If unsure, ask around.

Notice to Steam Spore users

The Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit has, on numerous occasions, proven extremely unreliable with the Steam version of Spore. As such, if you’re thinking of buying Spore, it is strongly recommended to buy it either from Origin or GOG instead of Steam. Even the retail version is preferable if you don’t mind being locked out of online features.

Previously, we recommended transferring your Steam Spore keys to Origin. Unfortunately, this has become impossible due to factors beyond our control, and we are unsure if this will ever change.

As with everything Spore-related, personal experience alone proves nothing. that is, a sample size of one is never sufficient.

The Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit has never worked under WINE thus far, unfortunately. Hopefully that will change in the future.

As for the problem at hand. what exact path did you install Spore, Spore Galactic Adventures, and the Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit to?

    1. try turning Norton off for a while. It might work.

15. Your Spore ModAPI Launcher has a virus in it and so I can’t install your mod. Very frustrating. Do you have any mirror sites for downloading it?

    1. It should not have a virus. Bitdefender and Malwarebytes Premium lets it thru. Try pausing your antivirus.

18. I got past using the easy installer to install the dark injection mod, but when I open through launch the mod wont work, when I exit the game it says “only part of a readprocessmemory or writeprocessmemoy request was completed” can someone inform me what I might have done wrong/how to fix it?

    1. I don’t know why the ModAPI launcher gives that error. I get it too. What works for me is to just launch the game thru steam. I still get Dark Injection. Hopefully this works for you.

19. So… I tried to open this on Steam, but it didn’t really worked. So I wanted to change it to Origin, is there any way of changing where it opens it? Because when I try to open it on Origin, it just opens Steam. So I think I have to change what place it opens the game.

21. I keep getting an framework error each time when I try to launch Spore ModAPI launcher. I am using Spore Origin verison.

22. So… I appear to be the only one with this issue.
    When running the launcher SETUP, normally and with administrator privileges, when clicking install, the installer crashes. Is there an alternate way of getting an installation?
    I don’t know if it matters, but I’m on Windows 10 and using the Steam version with GA.

       I really love spore, its a great game, but i want the Dark injections mod installed so i have more to work with, + having an infinite complexity meter is just a heavens blessing.

24. It’s not a package file anymore, it’s an .exe file. And whenever I confirm where I want to install the mod the window just closes down. A folder is created where the files should be installed in, but it’s empty. I have tried disabling both my antivirus and windows defender. No luck.

    1. The Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit isn’t a mod, it’s a set of tools for installing and using mods. In any case, I’ve just updated the setup program, so try downloading a fresh copy and install through that. Let me know if that helps.

28. Whenever I try to use Spore ModAPI, it will glitch and open hundreds of command prompt windows, error windows, and often game windows too. I use Origin Spore, do I need to run the launcher in administrator mode or is it something else going on?
